Ferrari 308 and Mondial Portfolio 1974-1985
by R.M. Clarke
The 308 GT4 was a replacement for the original 246 series Dino. It wore the Dino badges and it shared the 246's transverse mid-engined layout. It was a 2+2 rather than an uncompromising two seater, and it broke new ground in having a body styled by Bertone. Sales were steady but not spectacular. The Dino badging was dropped in May 1976 and production began to trail off during 1978 - the last one was built in January 1980. The Mondial didn't fare very well - it was a heavier car and a disappointment to Ferrari fans and only survived until 1982. However, the Mondial Quattravalvole showed that Modena had got the formula right this time and when a gorgeous cabriolet version joined the original coupe in 1984, sales practically doubled overnight. There are plenty of Ferrari enthusiasts who number the models in this book among their most coveted cars, and they will find plenty to feed their passion on its pages.

Ferrari Dino 246,308 and 328:A Collector's Guide
The Dino, named after Enzo Ferraris late son, may have lacked the outright speed of its 12-cylinder contemporaries, but in its various manifestations it was amongst the most stylish and affordable of Ferraris. Benefiting from a legacy of achievement on both road and track, today the series is rightly regarded as providing some of the most coveted classic sports cars. Ferrari Dino is a comprehensive guide, not only to the three models carried in the books title, but also to the associated models which shared the Dino name. The author traces the series through its progressively more powerful V6 and V8 engines, its ever widening choice of body styles, and the racing career of the purpose-built competition models.

Ferrari 60 Years: The Great Moments
This lavish book dedicates a whole chapter to each of Ferraris 60 years in existence. Each chapter focuses on the most important event of that year, whether this be a motorsport achievement (Schumachers first World Championship with Ferrari, in 2000), the launch of a landmark road car (the Daytona, in 1968) or a significant moment of human interest (the death of Enzo Ferrari, in 1988). Other notable Ferrari happenings are included in the form of an illustrated digest. Heavily illustrated and handsomely designed, this book is a must for all Ferrari enthusiasts.

Ferrari 1947 thru 1997: The Official Book
Reprint of the prestigious volume published on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the House of Maranello and sponsored by Ferrari itself. The imposing work is subdivided in two large sections. The technical part is by Karl Ludvigsen and details the technological innovations introduced by Ferrari from 1947 up to now; the historical part is by Gianni Cancellieri and recalls, decade after decade, Ferraris history from the industrial, sport and human viewpoint. The appendix includes the silhouettes of all the cars built by Ferrari, the list of the men that in these fifty years have contributed in building the myth of the Prancing Horse (presidents, technicians, teams, drivers and so on).
